Terms and Conditions

Deposit and Payment

To confirm a reservation, we require an advance deposit payment of 15% of the total amount. The deposit shall be paid with credit using our payment page. You can also pay the deposit with bank transfer, but you will be responsible for all bank fees.
On arrival, the balance is due in cash.
On arrival the security deposit is payable in cash. If your stay is of one month or longer, we might request a higher security deposit than stated on the apartment's description page.
Under special circumstances and with prior approval only, you can pay the balance and the deposit with credit card, but this will be subject to a 3%-4% surcharge to cover processing costs. Please contact us in advance if you wish to pay the full amount with credit card.

Cancellations and Changes

The deposit is not refundable in the event of cancellation.
If you wish to change the dates of your booking, this is considered a new reservation, and the deposit is not refundable

Check-in and Check-out times

Check-in time is between 15:00 and 22:00. If you wish to check in before 15:00, please let us know, and we will try to accommodate you. If the apartment is ready, you will be able to check in earlier.
For check in between 22:00 and 8:30, you will have to pay on arrival a late check-in fee of 30 euros.
Check-out time is between 8:30 and 11:00.
If you would like to check out later, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. If there are no other guests arriving the same day, you can stay in the apartment until 15:00. For check-out from 15:00 to 22:00, you will be charged a half day's rate. For check out after 22:00 you will be charged a full day's rate.
If you wish to check out before 8:30, you will either be charged 30 euros for early check-out, or you will be checked out the night before, at the discretion of the apartment owner.

Number of guests

Only the number of guests specified in the reservation confirmation are allowed to stay in the apartment.
Children under 2 years of age do not count towards the number of guests, as long as they do not require the use of additional beds.
Pets are allowed only with prior approval, and are subject to an additional charge of 10€ per night and an additional 100€ security deposit. Please inquire with us if you wish to bring your pet.

Apartment Behavior Rules

All our guests are kindly reminded to be considerate with the neighbors. Our apartments are located in residential buildings, and we request that our guests behave appropriately.
Parties are not allowed. Please do not play loud music or make excessive noise. If neighbors complain or the police is called in, you will be asked to leave the apartment without the right to receive any refund.
The apartments will be cleaned prior to your arrival. On departure we expect that the apartment be left in a reasonably orderly state. If the apartment is excessively dirty, we reserve the right to deduct an amount from the security deposit to cover unusual cleaning charges.

Liabilities

Neither Madridapart nor the owner of the apartments will be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and losses because of fire, theft, or flooding.
In the event that you have a confirmed booking and Madridapart is unable to accommodate you in the apartment of your choice, Madridapart's liability will be limited to providing either alternative similar accommodation in an apartment or a hotel, or a full refund of the amounts already paid.
At Madridapart we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date descriptions of our apartments. If there is a dispute concerning the description of the apartment, Madridapart's liability will be limited to providing a refund of the amounts already paid, minus the cost of any nights already stayed, if you choose not to stay in the apartment
