Driving Directions

• Go to Plaza del Emperador Carlos V (where the Atocha Railroad station is). From Carlos V go west up Atocha street (there is a "McDonalds" restaurant on the corner) until you reach Plaza de Jacinto Benavente.
• As you enter Plaza de Jacinto Benavente, make it immediately right (there is a "Maestro Churrero" cafe on the corner) and drive straight into calle de la Cruz.
• Make it left on Barcelona street. Barcelona street is a dead-end street, but you can stop there to drop off people and luggage.

There are two parking garages nearby, one in Plaza de Jacinto Benavente and another one in Plaza de Santa Ana. The cost is approximately 27 euros per day.

There is also on-street metered parking on Espoz y Mina street, with a two hour maximum. The price is approximately 1 euro per hour.

Also, note that traffic through Puerta del Sol is closed to private vehicles from 8:00 to 22:00 (Monday through Friday), and from 11:00 to 14:00 (Saturdays). In addition there is a lot of construction going on in the area.
